Held on the Avenue of the Fountains, this 3-day juried show with nearly 480 artists attracts an estimate 170,000 visitors and features food booths, musicians, and beer gardens.
Each year, the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation commemorates the 960-member tribe's successful struggle to prevent the construction of a dam which would have flooded the community. The only Thanksgiving Day Parade in Arizona, featuring local groups and a Grand Marshall. A parade theme is chosen each year. Parade starts at 9 am at the corners of Saguaro and El Lago Boulevards.

The Plaza Fountainside is located just minutes away from Scottsdale via Shea Boulevard or from Mesa via Highway 87. Located on the east side of N Saguaro Blvd between El Lago Blvd and Avenue of the Fountains. Plaza Fountainside borders Fountain Park and is within 100 feet of the World Famous Fountain and Splash Park.

From the Loop 101, head west onto the E Shea Boulevard exit. When you come into Fountain Hills you will turn left at the stop light onto N Saguaro Boulevard heading north. N Saguaro Boulevard is shortly before Hwy 87 / Beeline Highway. Go several miles on N Saguaro Boulevard. You will turn right into the Fountside Business Complex just after the intersection of E El Lago Blvd.
From Mesa head north on Hwy 87 / Beeline Highway. When you get to the stop light at E Shea Boulevard, turn left to head west into Foutain Hills. Turn right at the first stop light which will be N Saguaro Blvd. Go several miles on N Saguaro Boulevard. You will turn right into the shopping center directly in front of Fountain Park. When you see Matilda the iron horse, you have arrived!
